An Introduction

So although I know its unlikely anyone will ever read this introduction, I thought that its probably something I should do anyway so if you reading this then welcome!

I'll keep this short and sweet, I'm not really one for talking about myself and I can find it a bit awkward at times so I'll just dive straight into it.

Obviously, Binxie isn't my real name although those who know me well enough will know its been my nickname now for years. I've gone for being virtually anonymous on here for a few reasons, personal safety being one of them given how hostile the world is becoming to independent thought, but also if I did ever start becoming popular I know I'm not really the sort of person who would want to be in the limelight. I live in Essex in England and currently work for an environmental services company.

So whats the blog about then? Well basically without trying to be too vague, anything. I have a huge range of interests and I'm really not the kind of person who would want to get into a situation where I end up covering one topic for too long. Generally speaking my interests cover history. aviation, space, paganism, wildlife, games and outdoorsy pursuits such as camping or hiking, etc. Politics often creeps in too, but owing to my strange synthesis of right and left-wing beliefs I'll probably just end up winding up everybody if I express them too often. Having said that, I'm a fairly proactive environment activist and am in the process of writing an essay about a kind of alternative political structure.

A lot of the material I produce on here will be well researched and hopefully informative for people out there who happen across this blog. I also plan on writing fiction (I have loads of stories floating about my head.)
